Located in Downtown Diamond Springs, the Labor Day Bazaar gets underway at 8 am. Come meet Jack at the United Democrats' booth at China Garden Road near Pleasant Valley Road. Mariposa, on Saturday, September 1 from 10 am - 5 pm. While you're at the fair, be sure to stop by and say hello. Jack looks forward to meeting you! Since 1939 the Mariposa County Fair has been providing family fun to the people of Mariposa and other surrounding communities. Jack Uppal, the moderate Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in California’s 4th district, will speak at a town hall meeting on Tuesday, August 14th at 6:30 p.m. in the Truckee Tahoe Airport Community Room at 10356 Truckee Airport Road in Truckee, CA. This event is free, and the public is invited to attend and ask questions of Jack.
Jack’s campaign is focused on “Putting People First,” and bringing prosperity back to our district. “No single party has all the solutions for challenges facing our nation. We need moderate representatives that are willing to work together to come up with common sense solutions,” says Jack Uppal. Uppal, 57, is retired from the semiconductor industry where he was an engineer, manager, and an executive. Uppal has no prior political history. Jack Uppal held a town hall meeting on Wednesday, August 1st at the Mariposa Government Center. The turnout was excellent, and Jack really enjoyed the opportunity to meet everyone. Thanks to those who took the time to come out and learn more about Jack.

On Tuesday, July 10, 2012, several thousand people from around Northern and Central California were sworn in as citizens in a ceremony at Raley Field in West Sacramento. Jack and Kate Uppal joined over a hundred volunteers from across northern California to assist these new citizens with voter registration. Over 300 voter registration cards were completed on site, and many more people promised to complete their registrations at home.
